Hayleys in Alberta!

My good friend from highschool, Hayley Rathwell is visiting her mom for the week! What are the odds we both plan to be here at the same time? We met up at the Edmonton Mall and ate some lunch at Earls (we don't have it in Ontario). We legally ordered beer, which is a new thing for both of us, and some sushi. We then made our way around the mall trying things on and exploring stores. The mall is so large that we didn't have time to go everywhere but I found a few good deals in the time we had! As we were walking around we bumped into Justin Gracie, a guy we know from highschool and was in our history class. Small world. Hayley had to go, so I continued onto find a journal I so desperately needed. I bought a wrap from "freshi" a healthy fast food place that sold a lot of cool foods. The wrap I had was made from some sort of spinach or lettuce leaf instead of a pita bread or wrap, and had tofu and thai noodles inside! At 6pm Petra picked me up and we went home to make rouladen for when Sonny and Leanne came at 8! It is a dish made of thinly cut beef, mustard, bacon, cayenne, garlic, and a pickle all rolled into little individual wraps! The meal was delish and filled us all right up!

Hey Charlotte...Soooo glad you have made this blog! Opa was excited to tell me about it - he's reading along about your adventures on his ipad.
