our fifth day at the fish camp started with another killer breakfast and soon after we all were on our way to our favorite spots. John caught a couple nice northerns and Joe and I went back to the same rock we fished the day before. Unfortunately, the walleye fishing was very slow and the wind calmed down so we switched to our trusty Williams wobblers to get some bass and pike, and we did just that. Nothing to write home about though. The wind started to pick up so we switched back to the walleye and caught a few small ones. Dad and Rex also came back to the rock and also Uncle Terry and Pat and John. Dad and Rex got their first walleyes and made them happy campers. Uncle Terry and the boys also got a couple walleye. We headed back to the lodge for an awesome (see I don't always say "killer"!) dinner. After dinner we all headed back out for some more fishing and John got another pike and lost a huge one (took his wabler), and I got a pike and lost a huge one but kept my wabler. Joe caught a very nice smallmouth
and soon after we headed back to the lodge for some much needed rest before our last day of fishing. As my brother in law Tod always says "tight lines"!
