Beach life called so off we headed down to sihanoukville, stayed in a cute little beach bungalow along with a couple of friendly gecko's. Nice place and enjoyed some lovely food. The little town was nice with lots going on, met some interesting characters and seems only fair that at this point andreas should get a mention.......according to him there are shape shifters in the government.....

Anyway after sihanukville we well and truly tuned in and dropped out of civilisation and headed to a teeny tiny island called koh rong saloem where there was no electricity. A generator was fired up for 2 hours every evening to charge phones etc (not that they worked on the island anyway). We stayed in wooden shack right on the beach and shared it with gecko's, monkeys and squirrels to name a few, in fact we was very much a guest in their home......as one of them reminded adam in the middle of the night when it bit adam's toe....

We did some scuba diving with an amazing guy called hussein, looked after us good and proper. Not the best dive we ever done, visibility not brilliant on the way down but once down saw loads of beautiful coral and fish. I got a bad sting off something down there and still have the scars now...didnt even see what it was! All i know is i didnt feel great that night after the dive. Good job im made of strong arnold stuff as we was about as remote as we could get and no one wants to get ill in cambodia, not even the cambodians like going to their hospitals......

We tried to take a photo of our "wilson" to show you all but the tide washed him away.......WIIIILSONNNN!!!!!!!............

Adam made something cool for our garden out of stuff washed up on the beach using his penknife and a rock, check out the pic!

When leaving the island we had to trek through the jungle to the other side of the island as the wind was too strong for the boat to sail into our bay. Hard going with a ruksack and the heat/humidity, lucky for me a cambodian guy grabbed mine after a bit.

Next stop koh chang, thailand.

Peace out y'all xx

hey guys, idyllic little bungalow. Good of the local wildlife to let you share! Adam, Andy Goldsworthy would be impressed with your beach sculpture!!! Mel, the expression on your face when your'e in the hammock just says it all! The infinity jetty is a tiny road to paradise! Who the hell is wilson??!! Hope your leg and Adam's toe are getting better. Does the cafe have water buffalo on the menu? I reckon sinanoukville in where the sanuk shoes adam loves originated!! love always and big, big hugs to you both, Moom xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
