Breccie at the Sand Bar Turtle CoveAw! left Cairns today, we've had a good time just meandering round the beaches and tropical rain forest
Plenty for the memory banks.
Woke up before alarm at 07:15 and had time for coffee, toast and fruit salad before driving to the airport.
It was 29 degrees when we dropped off the car, and got through baggage drop and into departures/arrivals for 10:30.
Had more coffee and a sandwich (cake for Brian) to kill the hour and half before take off.
The flight down along the Barrier Reef coast was stunning scenery through the sun and sparse white cloud -so blue and green!
Chicken curry and rice on the plane whilst watching a movie on the supplied iPad.
Landed at 16:00 but had lost a hour somewhere in the air again - sunny 22 degrees will do us for the rest of the week.
We got to the hotel for around 17:00, unpacked and went to Coles for bits to see us through: Rotisserie chicken and salad 'cos we is slimming - yeh right!
Loaded the washer then got ready and went out to our usual Taylor Square bar, had 3 drinks then wandered back

Pie Face beef sausage roll though 😉
Went to sleep about 02:30, but Brian had tea and watched TV sport to catch up on the weekend footy for another hour.

Holiday lets
When you win the lottery you can buy a beach side house and all of us an move in with you. Can hear the comments now!!!!!!! Hope you have had time to get some R & R because you seem to have been on the move a lot. Still a bit chilly hear will bring your thermals to the airport. Have a great time for the last few days. You will have to let us know the time of your arrival.
