Out morning has been bittersweet - we really enjoy the culture and herring all the accents of the ppl here in Australia and New Zealand, but it has been a long trip and we are also excited to come home now too. That is usually the sign of a good trip in our minds!

Since we has already explored so much of the city, Tuesday was a pretty low key day for us. We walked across the harbour bridge - walking up the bridge itself was $220 and 5hrs...decided to skip that this time. Now that we were in north Sydney, we found a path that ran along the harbour and just sat and watched the boats for a while - everything from a kayaker to the ferrys to fast jet boats to a huge slow-moving barge. The city has a lot of small bays and the waterways are so busy with people st going to and from each of them! After returning on one of those ferrys, we grabbed some supplies and found a spot in the grass in the botanic gardens that overlooked the bridge and the opera house - I read for a while and Al tried to beat his iPad game 😊

After asking around we decided on a place for our last dinner, well, the concierge did not mark the right place on the map and we walked a bit extra - no matter how comfortable heels are, they are not really meant to walk over 1.5miles in 😞. But at least the meal was good - only 2 blisters is not too bad!

Today, March 27, will be a long day for us - we leave here at 2pm and arrive home at 4pm...that's after traveling for 18+ hours - very bizarre!

This is the end of our down under adventures! thanks for following us on our treck 😉
