Jumbo crab
It was still alive this morning! We set out on foot again today - it was so nice in the morning, not too humid and the sun not too hot - yet... Our first stop was the Queen Victora market - this place was so big! Plenty of really fresh seafood - huge crabs, blue crabs, black crabs, any type of fish you could image really. Along w/ the seafood, perfectly cut pieces of meat ranging from beef to kangaroo to goat - and even beef tounge or goat kidneys if you so wanted. In a whole other building were the cheese shops and bread/pastry items. Why do we not have these in the US - we think one should open in Denver as ppl are so concerned about things being fresh and local - it would be a hit! Another section was just rows of fruits and vegetables and still another section was full of suviours and such.
St. Kilda is a just a bit south of the city - right along the ocean. We were wishing we had brought our suits w/ us as it was again hot and humid! But the breeze off the ocean was a lifesaver and kept us a little

Beef tongue or kidneys anyone? more comfortable.
Back in the city now - resting our feet after walking 35,452 steps so far...which comes out to be about 15.66 miles according to my pedometer anyway 😊
Tomorrow 3/9, we are going to go back to the river bank as there is a big festival call Moomba - its Labor Day weekend here so, its probably going to be a very busy place!

Market
Wow! Grand selections of EVERYTHING at that market. Yes, that is a large tree to rest on, Rachael. Great places to tour during your visit! Care to bring home a T-shirt for me? Love, Mom & Dad
