The requisite BBQ day yesterday (Saturday) going swimmingly and great to catch up with good friends again - thanks to all for making the effort to come out to the edges of Melbourne.
Rest day required today but that's not quite possible when visiting with excited seven year old twins.
Flight to Christrchurch (South Island) tonight, pick up a hire car, and head north to St Arnaud overnight. Collect enough bits of fuel, food, and liquid for a 3-day hike out to Mt Angelus starting Tuesday morning. Weather's looking a little bit wet but that's no big surprise.
May the day be kind to all wherever on the planet you're reading this.

The adventure really begins
Well the bit between here and there is of course an interlude, in a way a marking of time. Here's hoping that the woosiness called jet lag that accompanies the great trek around the globe hasn't hit you too hard and the tje wind remains fully in your sails. Hope you manage the odd photo or two on the blog and awaiting the tales of derring do :-)
