Dear Gracie and Magster,

I can't believe this is my last entry from Thailand! One month - gone! It has been the best month ever though and I am certainly not finished with Thailand I absolutely love it.

I have been in Ko Tao for the past few days and leaving today to begin the journey to Australia. It's very beautiful here. Most people come here to dive which I can imagine is amazing as I have done snorkelling and thought that was great. Where I have been staying is lovely. Really central, cute, bamboo hut surrounded by trees and butterflies with a big swimming pool. If you would prefer the beach it just 100metres away. Pretty perfect!

When I first got here: A) I was surprised to see roads haha because the previous island didn't have any but here is bigger and B) I wasn't so sure what I thought as everyone has bigged it up and I didn't rate it at first. Maybe because I was so sleep deprived from Phi Phi and there was lots going on there and not as much in Ko Tao, especially at night. After a day or two I began to enjoy it, just relaxing by the pool and nice walks on the beach around sunset time so it was a good temperature and lovely people.

Yesterday I went on a snorkelling trip which was fun. We stoped at various different bays (one was called shark bay and they were about a metre long) and went swimming and snorkelling. There was lots of different fish of all shapes, sizes and colours. Actually being on the boat was funny too as it was fairly rocky (but not dangerously) and people were tripping into eachother and accidently sitting on people's laps for a second! I am pulling a funny face in one of the photos on the boat because just at that time there was a big wave and it made me jump!

Our last stop on the boat/snorkelling trip was at a tiny island just off Ko Tao called Koh Nangyuan. We spent 2 hours there and it is honestly the most beautiful place I have ever seen (I know I prob say this about most places but they just keep getting better). There was a thin strip of sand with the sea either side and if you take the snorkel in the sea, you can see all the fish around you and only about 2metres in. It's so cool! The water is so warm as well. The heat there was so intense but it might have something to do with the sand being so white that the sun reflects - it's boiling so lots of sun cream was needed. Hopefully the pictures do it justice because OMG it's the best place ever.
