Hello Again, sorry to neglect blog for so llong, but I've been either too busy or too remote to attend, so as in Fiji here is a summer special to report on my trip north of Perth, on a rickety old Easyrider bus, all i can say is I've enjoyed this part more than any other part of the trip, yes even NZ and Fiji:

Tuesday - get on bus at 7am, hit the freeway north, notice poor old Perthers have train stations between the lanes of motorways, imagine that on the M25!!??!! First sight is the famous Pinnacles, shame about the cars riding round with lazy old tourists in their MPVs. First big stop was Kalbarri, attractive place where got to know the group over fish/chips/beer, marvelled later at the crassness of Aussie television, it's all John Deere tractor adverts as well, farming really does rule out here.

Wednesday - onwards north, visit a marine life centre, sadly the pet sharks are too cold to come out, arrive in lovely Denham, some superb sunset pics, have a BBQ (no shrimps) all good.

Thursday - Start day at famous Monkey Mia, stand at shore and feed fish to

the wild dolphins, loose circulation it's so cold, all good but dissapointed not to see any Monkeys. stop later on the Tropic of Capricorn, have unorigional photo taken standing over it, it's then onto ultra remote Coral Bay, hostel is like sleeping in a nightclub and I'm tired, sulk.

Friday - leave Coral Bay, then to Caravan park at Exmouth, enjoy a snorkelling session at Turquiose Bay and swim with a big sea turtle, avoid getting washed out to sea, take in yet another sunset. Have a meal out with the gang.

Saturday - push on further to the middle of nowhere, stop at a remote roadhouse to sleep in tents, we sit round the fire and drink 'goon' worse than buckfast! tell stories, talk b*llocks etc, feel very at home.

Sunday - nasty hangover, cured by jumping into pool with just boxers on in Karijini National Park, silly really as no towel, but cures hangover, walk on up a gorge and it's genuine stuff of dreams. more outback driving to Nullabaloor roadhouse, bag lucky single room.

Monday - onwards to broome, checkinto my hostel.resort home for next 6 nights, then go to Cable Beach to
G'day from WAG'day from WAG'day from WA

Around Shark Bay
watch the sunset, take group photos etc, then we all go out to a hotel to enjoy kareoke, i bang out 'Daydream Believer' win a hat! and am asked to come back up later! play the part of 'ken' in a barbie girl duet, then as a group we do 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and as an encore treat the house to my version of Tom Jones 'Delilah" (why, why, why?) ruin vocal cords,
Then after that Michael, our beloved coach driver takes us on one last tour, a walk up a jetty, that says it's due to be completed in 2000, sadly it is not and one of our number Dan walks off the end and we assume we've lost him, but he climbs back up, luckily really as a 3m crocodile lives down there!

So thats it really, can't rmember much of what we did but it's been fantastic, not even as hot as London apparently is but it's damn good up here. had a superb bunch to hang out which is cool.
