Outgoing Flight

Day 4.....

We arrived safe & sound in Calgary and immediately donned our cowby hats to join in with some Stampede action! At said event we saw bucking bronco's, steer wrestling (which basically involved a cowboy jumping off his horse & wrestling a bull to the ground!), bull riding & chuck wagon racing.

The weather is gorgeous and the locals are friendly. The city itself is tiny compared to London and very personable. The Stampede is a huge thing here and everyone gets in on the act with free breakfasts of pancakes, bacon & maple syrup (Jess I can hear your taste buds!), along with dancing and singing in the streets - we even got 'roped' into Square Dancing with the local cowboys and cowgirls!

We are picking up our RV today and heading into the Rocky Mountians, so until next time......yeeha!
