Bella Roma!

Bella Roma, so I think that explains it all (Beautiful Rome for those non italians (me)) we have had a crazy busy few days in Rome but have had a ball. Andrew and I again get parent of the year awards for keeping the kids up obsencely late but what was wonderful was how two lovely Canadian ladies who were on the 3/4hour (Italian time) did start as a 2 hour evening tour (lol) joined us today at the Vatican and said how amazed they were at our kids happily hearing about all that history about piles of rock! So of course today there were a few frayed nerves as we squished in the Colosseum and the Vatican oh and a side trip through the Pantheon! Have to say as a mum I am so proud of my kids ability to suck it up and be willing to take in and explore this amazing city (like I said beautiful but also very bloody crazy - I am sure those who have visited before understand). Anyway I am sure William will have some more to say about our time but I just wanted to say that Rome was amazing as were my kids for amusing my fascination with history.
