Edit Blog Post

So I woke up and you guys still haven't checked in.  I thought I take another swag at finding the Phuket hospital.  One thing for sure, you learn alot to have patience over here, you can't exactly multi-task.
Zenning mode:  I am the first victim of blogging on the NET and having it dissapear, I think this usually happens when I use dial up, so if this is a repeat entry, ignore it.
It toke me 2 hours to find a callign card, and then another hour to find an international phone.  These bad boys do not have one lick of ventilation because I was in the booth for 15 minutes talking to the international operator and was just soaked in sweat.  Felt like a steamed pork dumpling - and I think I started to mumble as the delusional symptoms kicked in towards the end of the conversation.  After getting the Okay from the insurance ppl, I thought i make one more attempt at gettign this rash out of the day.  I am just getting too impatient.
So I get to the hospital and it's qutie nice.  They toke me to the international area and you can tell by the abundance of staff and very little work for them.  I guess they figure they need 4 ppl at reception to translate english or maybe if they wheeled some fat canadian in here, they needed the extra help to get him on the bed.
Okay I think I have had a pretty embarrasssing moment:
I am in the doctors office with the nurse and he's  checking out my rash.  I am lifting up my shirt and the button on the shorts decided to just give.  And of course, I decided to go commando today so i am buck naked below the waist.  I am waiting for the stupid doctor to pull my pants up but he didn't and continued examining my rash on my back.  I look over at the nurse and she's sorta giggling which didn't put me at any ease.  By this time I just want him to finnish so I can put my shorts back up.
He prescribed me some stuff, thai doctors love to prescribe stuff, and my entire visit cost $1000 baut.  I don't think the doctor knew what I had either, he just said he wasn't sure and gave me a multiple choice type answer, and I had to fill in my choose my own adventure type diagnostic.  I figured, the stuff he is giving me is probably more potent then the stuff I have been buying off the vendors on the streeet.
So after walking past the receptionist to be greeted by more giggles, I was pretty ready to leave Phuket town.  I got my bag back at Talang guest house and still the two guys haven't checked in yet.
Next stop Karon.
