A very short blog this time, just to say we arrived in Salvador and did a whistle stop through the cobbled streets checking out the old and sometimes a bit derelict buildings. All brightly coloured which complemented the outfits of the Bahian ladies all dressed up, ready to give a show of their moves.

Describing Salvador is quite difficult as its got the beaches, colonial old town, modern new town but from looking at it all none of it is just quite as polished as other places with the same and maybe that makes it easier to skip. However one thing you can certainly say about the place is its got a vibe..... There's music and rhythm everywhere, which makes it smiley everywhere you go!

Definitely worth a few hours meandering and the two hour flight and night in a lovely central Pasada with double bed certainly better than the alternative 20 hour bus ride from Rio!
