One of the most pronounced natural arches in the park and really close to the road.
Drove to Zion National Park from Vegas on our way through Utah to the East Coast. Kind of the long way but we wanted to see these amazing parks in Utah, and they were well worth the detour.

We weren't in Zion for very long this day because we wanted to get to Bryce Canyon early enough to explore some and set up camp but what we did see of Zion was amazing and it would be so worth it spend more time there.

We entered the park and drove up towards a geocache that we wanted to find. If it had not been for this cache, I think we would have missed one of the greatest views the place has to offer. We took some pictures of the natural arch formations and traveled through this awesome tunnel (that I wish we could have stopped inside of to take more pictures out the vent holes) on our way to the trail for the cache.

The trail was relatively easy and quick but we made it even quicker because we had to get in and back out to stay on our timeline. I don't know if the trail is

as well known as some other parts of the park because there really weren't a lot of people on it. At the end, there was a plaque that explained the whole thing and we even saw a mountain lion. You could hear people below in the canyon and it almost sounded like they were right near us, the acoustics were so good.

All in all, it was an amazing adventure and we are so glad we got a chance to explore this place and hope to hit it again on another trip.

what a great cache view - good thing you were geocaching or you may have not seen this one. Totally beautiful.
