Our last night in Chiang Mai and we were celebrating a friends birthday (Tricia). We started off in a roof top Blues bar, where the music was mind blowing! A bunch of expats jamin on their drums, sax, trumpets with a Thai Afro haired guitarist! So smooth, so Jazz, so great, I loved it!
Moving on to a Reggae bar, where people were sticky and sweaty but only I found this a problem.....really?!
The following morning made our way to Chiang Rai! We took a stroll through the market at night and found a local dance night, where young - really old came together for a dance session (indians think Garba, non indians think maypole, without the pole and strings). We ended up staying for 3 hours, I am sure no one noticed that we were not Thai!
The highlight of the night was Rose (her name was on her football top she was wearing!) who could have had a dance off with anyone and won hands down!
