My latest travels are taking me through four countries in three months. I'll spend a month studying yoga in India, then the following month backpacking through major India cities from North to South. I'll then fly to New Zealand for a Taiwanese wedding, and spend 12 days enjoying a few cool spots on both the north and south islands. After this I will spend Songkran in mid-Thailand before traveling south to the Thai islands surrounding Phuket and Krabi. I've tried a million different crazy things here, there is a lot of rice, tofu, steamed veggies, and crazy kinds of tea. Also the food is super spicy in this part of China which takes some getting used to. Yes they do have yogurt in most grocery markets! And I believe people do buy those rocks, although I have never seen it happen.
