We woke to a nice sunrise on our last morning in Shanghai CHRIS
At the Chinese airport, the lounge was really boring. Only a few chairs and some drinks. On the plane I couldn't watch any movies because my headphones had a problem with the cord because one of the ends of the bit where you connect it to the armrest broke off. So I watched the Ipad instead and ate a lot of kitkats. When we got to Tokyo about 1:30 we caught a fast train back to Shinjuku station where our hotel, Keio Plaza Hotel was waiting for us with a small but nice room. The toilets are almost too good to mention, they have lots of buttons on them.
We ate out at tepanyaki where it took a little while to find it but it was delicious and Mum and Dad said I ate very very well.

Taxis’ are a work of death, especially ESPECIALLY! In shanghai let me start with the positives, we got to the airport alive, our luggage was undamaged and it was very cheap only 200 RMB (30 dollars). Matt and Chris doing their school work in the airport lounge he was zipping in and out of traffic without a blinker on, making last minute turns across the highway oh, and there were no seat-belts. He was a great taxi driver on shanghai standards
The plane ride was pretty boring and so was the train ride in Tokyo, so I’ll skip to the chase.
We arrived at our hotel at about 4:30 once we unpacked we went for a walk around Shinjuku which is where we were staying. The first thing I noticed was the population, it was so crowded and most of the people were under ground in the subway.
