One of the interesting things about travel, naturally, is seeing things that are different than at home. I have observed many road signs which I have never seen in Canada, and certainly are not used in the Yukon. Flash floods are clearly a major danger. I am amazed at thefrequency of the flood way signs. Looking around at the relatively level cou try side, it is hard to believethat ther might somehow be 2 meters ofwaters on the road. Equally, looking at the last 2 photos, it is hard to believe that there might somehow be 2 meters of sand on the road...who would have thought it!

Do olives hop across the road regularly too?
Are they a traffic hazard? And what about the cow with the space ship overhead. Have they got alien rustlers in Oz?
