Hello my friends. Well a damn car rental was $500 for just 5 days, so I
bused it from coast to coast. $4 bus 1.5 hours to Porto Limon, $6 3.5
hour bus to San Jose (through some cool cloud rain forest for 45
minutes), buses sold out in San Jose for the Pacific so a $90 cab
busting it to Jaco with some psychotic driving, just in time to catch
the $2 1.5 hour bus to Quepos, and a final 1 hour bus to Dominical
which I never paid for. Quite a long day of travel, 10 hours in all.
Met a Brit at the bar next to my cabina, had some wings and a few beers
and called it a night.

Yesterday was just a relaxing beach day in the 80 degree ocean bath
water, with a little body surfing. The British guy offered his boogie
board as he was surfing, but I just didn't feel like it. A few beers
and up to another bar with the Brit and his Tico surfing coach for
"ladies" night. All dudes of course and a few shots came out and I had
to bounce before I got really trashed.

Slept in until 9am or so. Walked down the hwy 5K to a dirt rode that
led to a sweet secluded water hole and waterfall, with an awesome rope
swing. Just me and a couple from Utah enjoying the refreshing waters
and some fun flips off the swing. They gave me a lift back to town and
we grabbed lunch. A little more beach time and body surfing, and now
I'm just chilaxing on my balcony looking through the rainforest to the
beach, listening to Pandora on my phone. Nick, all I need now are some
seeds and gatorade and I'd be "content".

Probably a relaxing evening tonight and heading back up the coast an
hour to Quepos tomorrow morning. Staying at the beautiful Costa Verde
Inn for way too much money. But go big or go home, so I'm ending on a
high note, visiting the gorgeous Manuel Antonio NP.

I'll write again in a few days. Tristan, I get into Denver at noon on
Monday and have a 5 hour layover. Hopefully you are back from Cali by
then so we can hang out for a bit, since I missed ya back home.
