Here We Go Again

Here we go again…..



Well, we’ve been on the Gold Coast now for almost three months and it’s time for us to head of on our travels again. We are due to be on Phillip Island by 22^nd December for our family Xmas with Pete, Laura and the two families. Everyone will converge for a few days of Christmas cheer and I’ve no doubt there will be a bit of rivalry between the Aussies and Kiwis, not to mention the odd Pom???



We have had a great time here and enjoyed being near our family and friends again. The stays in the van by our lovely grand children have been special as was the “posh dinner” at Omeros Brothers with our oldest granddaughter, Tiarne (15!!).



We’ve been lucky enough to celebrate Ellie’s birthday, Melbourne Cup day with Ray and Val and had some lovely dinners with our lovely friends over the time spent here. Rose has also managed some quality time with Cassandra spending time shopping and chatting on a number of occasions. We even managed a couple of rock & roll lessons! Fortunately, the weather has been pretty kind to us again and we’ve been able to enjoy many walks along Burleigh Esplanade. The walks over Burleigh Hill with my daughter, Ellie have been especially taxing but well worth the quality time with her. I’ve attached a few random snaps of some of the events while here.



We intend being back on the coast in March, after travelling to Adelaide for New Year and visiting a few friends on the way back via inland Victoria and NSW.
