The first leg

Not really done much as yet, still settling in and trying to work out how to write these blogs so bare with me. I have been warned only to talk about interesting things that people would want to know about but you all know what i'm like so i will apologise now if at any time you read this blog you begin to yawn.....

After an emotional couple of days getting ready and saying good bye we arrived in Bangkok at 1515 on Sunday 2 October. Its just like we both remember hot, sticky and stinking but the Beer is cheap and the curries are proper bo so were not complaining well, i'm not anyway!

Koahsan Road
Every other bar it seams has a thai dude and his sidekick playing acoustic tunes. This is quite nice excpet when your caught between Bob Marlaysia and Noel Gallapogos (+sidekicks) when trying to watch Spurs Vs Arsenal.

First Night
Chicken Red Curry and Singha beer combo, the quintessential thai classic. I can safely say it wont be the last.

New kids onThe Wat (Teample)
Whilst visiting some Wats (Temples) we bumped into these two little fellas so big grooves had to go wading but first got out the camera. At this point the little buggar in the orange trousers flicked me the ones and started pulling faces at us! Then they wanted us to take more snaps and we couldn’t get rid of them.

Here Comes The Rain
Second night out and we decided to leave the anoraks’ at home. Big mistake.
