Goodmorning all,
It's almost 7 a.m. here and I am up early so decided to add in a quick blip about our time here in Johannesburg. The purpose of our time here is more as a through way to various places and not as a destination in and of itself - but it has been a great and memorable part of our trip nonetheless.
We have stayed at the Africa Sky Guest House twice now - when we first arrived to South Africa, the night before departing for Livingstone (Zambia) and then again last night. Both nights it has been the most wonderfully relaxing and pampered experience. The couple that owns it is very involved and so very nice! They actually upgraded our room this time around so we got the upstairs suite with the Jacuzzi tub 😊 We were able to enjoy an exquisite dinner last night at the restaurant, share in an after dinner drink in the lounge, and then relax in our very own Jacuzzi. Perfection!
The bugs here are VERY limited - way less than we have at home - so we were able to sleep with all the windows open even with no
mosquito net. I will say I did spray myself all over with the bug spray they provided though (night time bug spray... that is the name of it for real) before bed just in case. I sprayed the curtains too... again just in case.
Jeff will be up soon and we will have breakfast and then meet Pete in the lobby at 9 a.m. for the next leg of our journey - up and through the Drakensberg Mountains. We are very excited to see what awaits us!

you r lucky about the bugs oh my god they are horrible here!!!! i think your room is beautiful!!! lov u guys
