Well...what a day! We had a wake up call at 6am to eat and meet at 7am to disembark the boat. very early!! So that we did and then hopped on a bus to Syntegma Square. We both had job interviews today so needed to check our emails as to what time we had them on skype, so stopped in at a coffee shop called Everest and sat for about half an hour with all of our bags - handbags and packs at our feet. I looked down after about 30 mins to get some money out of my bag and realised it was gone! Someone had obviously swiped it from between my feet! So horrible! So I had a bit of a moment when I realised everything i needed was in there - wallet, camera, passport, make up!!

We went and spoke to the police who obviously weren't doing their job at all as they were standing like 10m frm where it happened! They told us where the police station was. So I got a ph card rang and cancelled all my cards and then we made our way to the police station to get a report then to the NZ consulate who was really helpful but because of it being a long weekend this weekend nothing could happen until next tues! And that when we are meant to fly to Istanbul. So the only option was to get an emergencyu travel documet which can either get me home to NZ or back to London and apply for a passport there. So no Turkey for me which sux!!!! Back to London on Wed! But what can you do?? Just one of those crappy things! So Sarah and El will still go to Turkey and El's camera will be finally gettng some use!! 😊

So majority of our day was spent sorting this out and then good times realising that I still had my turkish money in my pack! So exchanged that into Euros which was good! And I bought a gorgeous bag to replace mine!! So now I just need to get stuff to put in it!!

I also had good news with a job in London but will be meeting her on thursday when I get to London. So, at least something good is coming out of it hopefully!!

Onwards and upwards, Olympia tomorrow!!!

Enjoy your trip.
Hey guys. Take care of your belongings much more then when you are here in New Zealand. Things out there is much different and people don't measure their own space and invade the other ones spaces. Enjoy the rest of your trip but, stay awake for this kind of things. Have fun. God bless you.
