This morning we were up bright and early at 6.40am to start our Greek Island cruise. After an amazing and we mean AMAZING breakfast in the hotel we caught a bus to the Athens port with the rest of our Contiki tour group and started the process of embarking onto the boat. Once we were checked in we set out exploring the boat, which was INCREDIBLE!! We were expecting a boat similar to the one we were on for the Croatian tour but we were totally wrong!! The name of the boat is Louis Majesty and it has 11 decks – the top one is dedicated to sun loungers, then the 10th deck has incredible buffets and swimming pools as well as a stage with live music. There is also a gym, dutyfree shops, a casino, and heaps of other things on board like a spa and a library and lots of lounges and show rooms. There are close to 1600 passengers on board.
Our rooms were ready at about 10.30 so we took our bags in and we were stoked because compared with our room on the Croatian boat this one is massive! We even have our own ensuite. Total

Standing on the top deck of the shipluxury compared to what we have become used to. We had lunch at the buffet, which had amazing food and so much variety which was really good. The boat set sail for Mykonos at 11am and we headed up to the top deck to lie in the sun. At 5pm we had a tour group meeting because we were getting close to the island, and our tour leader gave us maps of Mykonos etc. Unfortunately once we got there the wind was so bad that we couldn’t dock. They waited for awhile to see if it would die down but it didn’t, so we headed towards Kusadasi which was our next stop for tomorrow morning. We were pretty disappointed but it was just one of those things. So we had a nice buffet dinner and went to the gym, then got an early night cos it was a pretty long day.
