It’s Tuesday morning, Kirsten has already gone down for breakfast. I’m behind her in the next few minutes. I have my suitcase and leave it by the front door. I’m looking around to see where Kirsten, Oma and Opa are, I can’t find them. I’m opening each door and theirs no one there.
Finally I open this door and there they are, everyone’s looking at me as where you been. Are you hiding or what? Kirsten laughs; they closed the door Es Zieht ‘a draft’. One thing Germans can’t handle is a draft, any draft.

We finish breakfast load up the car and we’re on our way heading west nowhere in particular just meandering. After a while we come into this small village and there is a McDonalds.

McDonalds are good in Germany and Austria they all have WiFi. We pull in to take a pauder ‘coffee break’. We all go in and were just relaxing and drinking our cappuccinos. Kirsten checks the flights and sees that the counts leaving Stuttgart tomorrow look great. She mentions it to Oma and Opa and they decide to go home.

So we recalculate or route on the Navie, ME and we’re heading to Stuttgart.

After an hour or so Kirsten turns the wheel over to me and I get to drive. Woo Hoo, I’m cursing up the Autobahn at 150 Kh plus until I hit Stau’ heavy traffic’ and we slow down, a lot. Kirsten who took over my position as Navie says get off at the next exit. She has found a cute town south of Stuttgart called WaldenBuck and puts us on a back road heading that way.

We arrive an hour later and Oma says I've been here before. Nicki, Oma’s niece lives here. They try to look her up but no success. We find this nice little Zimmer and we check in.

Kirsten and Oma go for a walk while Opa and I sit on the terrace and have a beer. When Kirsten and Oma get back we order dinner and have a nice dinner.

We then brake out the cards and play for a couple of hours.

It’s late and everyone is ready for bed.
