We woke up around 5 AM, Bea arrived close to 6 we loaded up and were on our way to the airport. We booked ourselves on the 7:30 morning flight to Atlanta knowing that would be plenty of time and the flights were open and it would be easy to get on. We would be in Atlanta early but it’s always better to be ahead of the rush.

As always, Kirsten and I have analyzed the flights trying to pick the correct time to leave to increase our chances to get first class seats using buddy passes going over to Germany. Going to Atlanta doesn’t really matter it’s a short flight, but when you’re going over the big pond First Class is nice.

Well that work came to a screeching halt when we got to the Orlando airport. When we went to bed last night there were plenty of seats, However, a flight was cancelled last night and today all flights to Atlanta we over booked by 50 people. What a mess, we tried to get on the 7:30, the 8:30 and the 9:30. We gave up and saw that it might be better if we go out of Tampa. So we called Bea and she came and got us and drove us to Tampa.

We arrived and almost got on the first flight, darn but we then made it out on the second one. We were behind schedule but were hoping to catch the Stuttgart flight. Well we did, but we were in coach with the rest of the cattle & goats (if you know what I mean). But were sitting together and that’s all that matters because were having a good time.

Thanks Bea for taking us to Tampa.

Happy Times
Great to hear you made it on the same plane and are able to sit together, even if it is with the common folk... :) Can't wait for your next blog and some pictures. Eve
