South America has been on my 'to do' list for years. I finally got around to organising a trip over that way - unfortunately due to time limitations I only went to Peru, but had a great time and I'll be back :-)

Streets of Cusco - Plaza de Armas
Founded in the 12th century by the first Inca, Manco Capac, 'Qosq'o' means 'navel of the earth'. Inca originally meant 'king' but was later used to refer also to the people the Inca ruled.

Ahuana Cancha
A quick stop on the trip to the Sacred Valley, and a chance to see llamas, alpacas and vicuñas.

Peru is next on our list for 2014...
but I'm curious...how did a blog published in 2006 just show up in the right column of my Control Panel? Anyway, it looks like the weather was poor in May...we'll probably go a bit later in the season.

Well, to be honest I was testing something for a user and needed to move a blog entry with a large number of photos. This entry was the one I used, and I used the quiet publish, but this still puts it in the CP of followers. A nice trip down memory lane at the same time :-)
