Country club Finley
proper Aussie pub, great gang there and landlord !Based on my experiences in WA i decided that i hadnt seen any of Victoria other than Melbourne and Dan Murphys and that i should try to correct that situation.
I hired a car, survived the worst drivers in the world, (Melbourne) and headed out into the sticks.
Halls gap, Bendigo,(loved the cathedral there,all lit up at night, reminded me of Norwich cathedral).
Visited a couple of vineyards,(blue Pyrennes was ace), lovely sparkly wine, yum!!
Eventually headed up to see Darren in finley via Chateau tahblik.
Had a very heavy couple of days there, beer wise ! had a great day out in the Rutherglen then headed to get the car back and saw Roo before flying back to Adelaide to See Cath and Shane and the gang.
Glad i got to see some of Victoria and regret wasting time in Melbourne when i should have got out and saw Warranmabol and the Yarra Valley. doh !! 😞(
