We're sitting in an Internet cafe right now off Oxford St - shopping heaven! Well it would be if we were earning pounds! I bought some silver sandals from Miss Selfridge thinking it was a pretty good deal...turns out not as big a bargain as I thought! Still I'm happy with them.
We have been looking for an Aussie jersey for Todd but all the sports shops don't sell them! Brazil jerseys are everywhere! Sportswear is actually pretty cheap over here. That's about the only thing worth buying!
Fashion wise...to those who may be interested...all the girls seem to wear trench coats and red flats. Boots and skinny jeans are popular too.
Tonight we're off to dinner with my friend Rose (who I used to work with at Quoin Technology). She now lives / works in Notting Hill. We're eating Thai in Soho. I hope it's not too expensive! We've been pretty stingy with the food!
Harrods is our next stop today. Definitely not going to buy there. I'm dying to see the fascinators displayed though!
We start our tour tomorrow morning at 7.30am. It's going to be 21 days of non-stop sight-seeing and photo posing.
I don't know what I'm going to do about the weight limit (25kg) when I come back. I just love buying souvenirs! I might have to post more stuff home. We already sent some souvenirs home when we were in Singapore.
Anyways I'm off...I have no idea how much this Internet cafe is going to charge us for the time as we switched terminals... bye!!
