Still smiling in La PazStill smiling in La PazStill smiling in La Paz

One of the few realy nice places is the plaza the Murillo, like it a lot better than the markets, where they robbed me
When I was in Uyuni, I 'lost' my wallet while waiting at a bus station....No Big deal, I still had my moneybelt with my creditcard and pasport.

I asked my parents to send the bankcard to the dutch embassy, and I thought everything would be OK 2 weeks later. While waiting in La Paz for my bankcard....is still not here.....the worst thing happened.
After walking at the local marked I discovered my bag was open...and what was missing, yeah my moneybelt.
The hassle to arrange everything is the worst, the good thing I sponsored the bolivian economy a big deal, I hope they happy with it!!

Enough of the waiting I went to Lake Titicaca, one of the highest lakes in the world..almost at 4000 meters!!! There is an Island Isla del Sol, where the Inca believe the Sun was Created.
Beatiful, bit touristy Island and had a great time there! Swimming is a big word for just a dip, but more than that was not do-able with the cold temperature.
We found to many locals playing soccer so in the end we joined them and had to stay another day because we had too much fun.

According to the Inca's this is the place where the sun was Created...not excactly at this spot.... but liked this spot more than the actual one
hoped when I came back in La Paz that my bankcard would have arrived. And when I called the next morning the receptionist told me to come to the Embassy because my bankcard had arrived and my temporary passport would be ready.
Happily I opened the letter, but a wrong bankcard was in it...when I looked better it was for sombody with a sort of similar name......
....so a bit dissapointed I came back to the city centre....have seen it too long now and hope for the best for tomorrow....or the day after or the they after that day.......

Locals wanted to play for a bottle of coca-cola. The first game were we got to play with some 8 years old children we lost, but when we found some more gringo's to play we made it to a stunning 12-11 win
