We had a little sleep in this morning and decided that today would be another beach day. We walked down to our beach. Dad and I hopped in the water right away. The waves this time were a bit different. It was deep near the shore and then went really shallow for a ways (sand bar) and thats where the big waves were hitting. These waves scared me a bit more then the others. I liked being in the deeper water where you could just float with the waves. Mom came out with us for a bit.

We walked back to the hotel and I hopped straight into the pool. It's such a nice pool! We got all cleaned up and had a snack and relaxed for the afternoon before walking over to the mall across the street from us to catch the free bus out to Skilled Park stadium for the rugby game we bought tickets for. Dad really wanted to see a rugby game. It was the Gold Coast Titans versus the St George Dragons (a team from Sydney). St George is the defending champions from last season. It's a really nice stadium.

Since neither one of us really knows all the rules of rugby we were a bit lost for most parts of the game haha. It was neat to check out and I'm glad dad got to see a rugby game while he was over on this side of the world. After the game we headed back to the bus and were taken back to the mall opposite our hotel. It was a nice relaxing day and good way to end our time on the gold coast. It's a very pretty beach and you can see why so many people want to live on the gold coast.
