Hi all, renton here.

My turn to enthrall you with our explots from eurotour 2010/2011. To usher in the new year we left vienna and travelled to the luxury resort of bratislava slovakia. While this concrete metropolis envokes feelings of suicide its accually not to bad a place.

Upon arriving at the campsite we found it was closed as you can see from the photo it was a litle chilly, so alternate accomadation had to be sourced. We were lucky enough to find an original cold war, one star motel with all the mod cons, fixed lighting that had to be plugged in and the windows that opened all the way (11 floors up). see attached photo for the aerial view of the faithful europig (magestic).

We quickly set off for a walking tour of the city where jackos powers of making new friends saw us in good steed for the coming eveing. Back to hotel extravagant for a recoup then out for a low key night that has become synonamas with jacko and myself. Meeting up with our newly made friends the night started with a visit to bratislavas exclusive night club loft. We lasted there about

3 minutes before heading off to the main square for the new years clelebrations. This is about when things started to go wrong. The dingo ( who was a spanker ) started whinging about how far we had to walk and why didn't we call a head. We listened to his concerns then promptly left him. the brazilian and her german boyfriend started off well, but after she threw herslef at jacko (in front of her boyfriend who put up with it) and he ignored her she went a bit mental. at this stage the aussie found us again, turns out he had a fantastic sense of direction. he started whinging again, this time about how we ditched him, we lied said we got lost. Then left again. new years was fast appraching the braziilizn may have started crying and we just wanted to see the news years in without being surronded by girlie men and crying brazilians. so we ditched them too (see the theme here).

After the fire works and a couple of quiet drinks we called it a night. as we got back to the hotel we found the crying brazilian waiting for us to give

us a piece of here mind, this went down like a bucket of cold sick even gin was feed up with her. After some gentle encouragement and my expert conflict resolution skills she left content in the knowledge that kiwis are awesome. She may still have been crying.

A couple more days sight seeing with some fantasic local meals chucked in to top it off. We left slovakia and were on our way to Rome.
