We had a few reasons for going to Hong Kong, one reason was because we had to leave China to re-set our visas. Our visas allowed 2 entries for 3 months each, so in order to stay for four months it meant leaving and then returning for our second entry. Wow, I can't believe it's that time already. Things are going so fast.

We both had some things in mind that we'd been looking forward to on the shopping front. Jordan's shoes have been falling apart for the last couple of months and desperately needed replacing. Kathie had her eyes on some new trousers from Marks & Spencer. Pretty boring actually compared to what most people come here to shop for. There were camera shops everywhere tempting us with the latest and greatest models. Not to mention the guys on the street attempting to sell us copy watches, copy handbags, tailored suits etc.

We probably didn't do Hong Kong justice with our photos, but we enjoyed the break and did little in terms of tourism. We did manage to take the tram up to Victoria peak for nice views of the city, and we took in the cheezy light show from the harbour. We were pleasantly surprised by how cheap the tram up to Victoria Peak was, we kept thinking that had this been in China it would have cost twice the price.

The rest of the time we spent going for walks recommended in the tourist brochures and sampling various items at the bakeries along the way.

A bit misleading as it's not continuous. Just a bunch of short sections back to back.
