Seville another beautiful place, the weather was perfect with 28 everyday and lots of sunshine. Our hostel was great , not very luxurious at all but very friendly and helpful staff who gave great suggestions about where to go and where to eat.
We started off by going for a walking tour with Paulo, a young, local Sevillian who is a history student and very proud of his homeplace. He spent 2 and a half hours showing us many landmarks, cathedral and bell tower (yes another tower to climb), the Alcizar, a Moslem palace which was totally amazing and other interesting places, there were only 4 of us on the tour so we felt very spoilt with personal attention. For the first time we then spent some time sitting in the sun doing nothing, felt very good. We went to the Plaza Espana,, a magnificent place which I have photos of where they have row boats in a canal where we had an hilarious time while Emily learnt the exercise of rowing, at least we did’nt have to be rescued like other people.
We went to a free night of Flamenco that was so excellent that we repeated the experience the next night, one flamenco guitarist, one singer and of course one excellent flamenco dancer. We arrived early so we had a great view of the show. We thought it was good the first night but the second was even better with a different trio on stage and an even better view.
We finished the time off in Seville with an indulgent visit to Banos Arabes Hamman Teteria which were Arabian Baths (Spain has a history of Moslem influences). We spent the hour and half between the warm aromatherapy pool, the hot bath, the salt water pool, the sauna and the Jacuzzi. Emily also had a massage. Wow extremely enjoyable and relaxing.
Melanie you should be proud of me I put my photos on a usb stick yesterday and I have taken more than 1000 so everyone will have to sit through a photo session when I return.
I went to put on a pair of pants I have’nt worn for a while yesterday and was quite shocked that they were so difficult to do up!!!!!!!!!!
I hope Nick’s pirate party was good and that both Kay and John had great birthdays.
We have arrived in Malaga now and are off to explore soon.

Hi Jane, wow you have been busy, sounds brilliant. Can't wait to see your photos, (I don't know about 1000, ever heard of deleting???) Where are you off to next? Weather here is great at the moment, 29 today, making the most of it. Your pants must have shrunk, I've heard that happens alot when you travel. Catch you soon, Jacinta

Hi Jane, sorry I have not sent a comment earlier. Have really enjoyed reading your blog and it has brought back some great memories of our trip to Paris and Italy. I think I should have gone on holiday with Em and you should have gone with Hollie as I was not able to convince Hollie to keep going up the towers to check the view. We also walked to the top of Capris but only because we didn't realise that you could get the funicular. Have a great time. Look forward to seeing your photos when you get back. Ali
