Eating shabu-shabu!Hi all,
And now, to follow up the visit of my brother...the visit of my sister Lisa, and her friend Zoe! They arrived here in Seoul at the end of August and stayed for almost 2 whole weeks (right up until they had to start school!) Unfortunately, the weather was pretty nasty (take 3 showers a day kind of humid-nasty) and very rainy, but as you can see by the photos, we made the most of the weather situation and had a great time together!
Some of the fun things we did were: Took a cooking class, went shopping, gambled at a casino (and Lisa won / stole about $230!), went to an amusement park - Lotte World, went shopping, went to a water park - Caribbean Bay, visited a Korean palace, saw a comedy show (& celebrated our 1-year anniversary), oh, and went shopping! Lisa and Zoe also had their share of Korean nightlife - they went out in Gangnam, Hongdae, and Itaewon! We also introduced a lot of Korean food to them (some of which they liked, others which they didn't like so much), and ate about 200 gallons of ice cream between the 4 of us!
(Seriously, we should've bought stock in Baskin Robbins and Cold Stone!)

Love the photos! Looks like you guys had lots of fun! I can't believe how grown up Lisa is now - I think the last time I saw her, she was about 6 years old! And what a beauty!
