This morning I am reflecting on a country that I know so little about - but now have a glimpse into their culture and character. Korea is a country that has been bullied and dominated for so many years, but the strength of their people keep them focused on the future while not forgetting their past.
Yesterday we went to one of the royal palaces, built in 1405. We learned a bit of Korean history at that time. The Korean folk are very proud of their past, and their royalty.
Korean ginseng is a controlled substance in the country. Apparently quite medicinal and potent. We have some on the way to Calgary - might look like a new women in 2 to 3 months! Watch out Steve!
We are on our way to Sydney Australia this afternoon - again a very different country! Photos will be coming... our Internet at the Seoul hotel is too slow to get the photos up and published.

I know the feeling about slow internet access in foreign countries! Hopefully, it will improve once you get to Australia!
