Arrived in Hasting we're slept on a nice Campsite near a Beach. The german Couple was 3 Days before us there. Manu and Vera are now 9 Month in NZ and have a Working Visa for 1 Year. On the next Day our 2 Vans heading to the North. We visit the Peninsula Mahia and driven a Gravel Road here and a Gravel Road there to have a look to the nice Spots. The Peninsula was very beautiful. Green Gras and the blue Ocean is a good Mix. After a Night near a River we met in the Morning two Opossum Hunters. We had a nice Chat + Coffee with this two Guys. They entrap the Animals in the Forest and kill them with a Hammer (no worries it's a proper Hammer 😊). Crazy Dudes.

In Gisborne we stocked up Juergen with Beer and start the Trip along the East Coast to Opotiki.
Along the East Coast to the East Cape is a very quiet and not so touristic Area. Small Streets connecting small Villages. We camped most of the Time near the Beach. Wake up with the Sunrise.
On the East Cape we were the first People of the World who saw the first Sunlight of the new Day. Pretty Amazing.
After the East Cape we heading to Rotorura to chill out in a Thermal Hot Pool. Next Stop was Taupo to going Crazy again.
