Here are some pictures from the first easter mass of Pope Benedict XVI. It was really amazing to see all of the people in Saint Peters Square and to hear and see the Pope. We had to get up at 7:00 in the morning to get a decent seat/standing spot for the 10:30 mass. It was totally worth it.

this was a view they kept showing over the screen. For scale. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the obilesk to the end of the street at the end of the piazza, when noone is there.
