Me and Stu decided to get married.

Mum before you have an aneurysm, it was only pretend in order to get some free show tickets! We blagged our way into a couples timeshare presentation, mainly because id heard there was fruit in the free buffet. Unless you want to eat fried stuff with cheese, Vegas is a hard place to eat healthily. We were only married for 3 hours, i wasn't that impressed. I hope my real husband wants to buy me a Vegas timeshare one day, as my pretend husband was a right tight arse! Sorry Stu :0)

We celebrated our divorce in typical American style.......shooting a variety of machine and hand guns! Not before we witnessed a particularly exciting display of road range between a Mexican gardener with a pic axe and a gringo with an iron bar, that's Vegas baby!

Better to be born lucky than rich as my Grampy always says. One can lead to the other as proved after a successful night of Roulette, beginners luck according to Stu. There was also a Mexican festival while in Vegas and after a mixture of Taco's and Margarita's, it seemed like a good idea to ride the famous New York, New York Hotel Roller coaster. Big mistake.

Was only in LA for 2 days so did a quick tour of Hollywood, Beverly Hills, walk of fame etc. Stopped off for a bit of window shopping along Rodeo Drive. Disappointed not to see any celebs. We apparently passed Ben Afleck having a coffee along Sunset Boulevard, but that's scraping the bottom of the barrel really isn't it! Spent the second day on Venice Beach, Santa Monica where Baywatch was filmed. Met a charming lifeguard called Mario who though i was Brazilian. That just about made my holiday!

Finally made it to San Fransisco for my last few days in the US. Unfortunately chose one of the foggiest days of the year to visit the Golden Gate Bridge, great shot of some mist though. Also rode the Tram to Chinatown where they were celebrating the Autumn moon festival.

The night tour of Alcatraz was fully booked so i did the day trip instead. Wasn't quite as spooky as id hoped, in fact it was actually rather beautiful, but i think the sunshine and freedom may of clouded my judgement! Successfully made it off the rock, which is the main thing.

Had my fortune told by the mystic Zoltar who basically told me it was time to stop having fun and get a job! How did he know?!!!
