...the musky stagnant smell of cigarettes lightly floats throught the air...masked by tons of ac and oxygen being pumped into the casino...i take notice of this while sitting and patiently watching as my two friends (mandy and danny) are absorbed into the slot machines...these machines, look as if created by an acid fiend tempted to create a device that allows the odds to be in their favor in regards from takin souls and cash...such a fascinating device...my eyes then take a gander at the floor, carpet...but not just any carpet...carpet that has many patterns that seem to not go well with one another, but its the least on your mind as you are engulfed in this realm of "luck"...though, the carpet does look at one time in its life, it was of some high standard...when you think cheesy hotels and casinos...even the imagination of some crazy wild carpet...you still cant fathom up this kind of stuff...not to mention...the employees...a diverse bunch of people...wearing uniforms that seem to not have changed a bit since the grand opening of this establishment...the waitress's...wearin sluty, prostitute like, yet to a small degree classy attire...definately eye catching...
well...i didn't walk away from the casino a winner...matter of fact, i spent 120 bucks to hang out and experience this awesomeness...

we then departed atlantic city to head towards newark, that is where our flight was...
we took an airline that i would say, would not live up to many of peoples expectations of an international flight...there were no air vents above our heads...literally no knee room...a bit shaky of a flight...however, the flight attendants were descent looking...and i got to buy some booze...brandy, it was buy one get one free...so, while danny and mandy slept...i drank, wrote, and watched video of myself...to say the least, i was buzzed...
we got to dublin tuesday night...and made our way to the campsite...we made it pretty late, thankfully it was open...put our tent up...jumped in, got our drink on (more of the brandy, Cartel Napolean) and played cards...
we woke up wed. morning...had coffee and took showers (for those of you that never camped in europe, the showers tend to cost a buck or so for the token, and the token allows for you to take a 6 min hot shower)...after missing the first bus, we waited an hour...had a good chat with some english dude while waiting...and then headed out towards the city. the ride nice, seeing the mountains/hills in the background...along with an amazing green color of grass...the scenery seemed to soak your eyes in and just allowed you to zone out on its beauty. we got to the city and the first thing we did...you guessed it, we ate...no use in binge drinking on great beer without something in your stomach...then we made a nice little journey over to the GUINNESS factory for our tour...it was educational and cool to see their story...
half way through, i noticed some chick who seemed to be by herself (well, actually i noticed her body first)...so, when the tour was done and we made our way to the top of this building (was a bar, with a 360 degree view of dublin), i decided to wander over to said chick and give her a cheers...long story short, she is american...so we all have a drink together and bullshit...then we proceed to wander to see where the wind would blow us...it took us to a pub called Hilltop...it wasn't a touristy spot, it was bonafide legit...a hanful of chaps, we give our head nods and hellos...and order our guinness and take our seats...only to be spoken to by a few lads...one of them...ALAN...cool ass dude, talks it up to us and sits and has a brewski with us...after kickin it with him for a bit, he takes us to another pub and we say our goodbyes...the american chick is still tagging along and kickin it with us...the day slowly turns into evening and night falls upon us...though, we rarely even notice, for we tend to stop by numerous different pubs, to drop in for a guinness...all the while, we are sharing laughs, jokes, and much randomness...not only with one another, but with all we encounter...
our night didn't end there...we jump off our bus a bit early to stop and have another beer...then we pick up eggs and make a nice walk back to our camp...overall...with a good bunch of shit i left out of this blog...i'd still say that the first true experience i had of irish people in dublin, was AWESOME and has meet what i had heard so many times....though, no leprachauns...

today...we will wonder around a bit...and tomorrow evening, we will make our way to barcelona...not sure when i will fell like writing again...but, i hope everyone is doing great and smiling often...

till next time, keep rockin out...
