Beach Hut Paradise

Hello all!
We arrived safely on the southern island of Ko Pha Ngan a fewe days ago, and were immediatly hit with a massive culture shock! We are staying in a beach hut, literally a few paces from the ocean, with the most spectacular view. Surrounded by cocunut trees and jungle. The water is like like stepping into a bath its so hot. Also what we thought were rocks in the water turned out to be coconuts whuch have fallen from the trees. Kyle made me do a rediculously long walk the other day and pretended it was just an hour...so four hours later, very hot and exhausted we arrived at the next town!! My muscles still ache now. It was Thai New Year the 13th and they celebrate with an enormous water fight, all the locals, kids and taxis arned with buckets, hoses and a range of great water guns, ensured we were totally drenched on our walk to the shop. Was great fun and everyone was in great spirits. Later that night we went with another couple we have met to the full moon party on the beach at the next town.It was massive with around 18thousand people, we enjoyed partying alongside them! Our days have been spent basking in the heat, or snoozing in the hammock...its just bliss!Happy Easter everyone..eat some eggs for us!Miss you all love Nic and Kyle x xx

At last!
At last have I had a good read and looked at all your fantastic photos. What a great web site and how fun to share your experiences (in a very small way!!) All looks and sounds absolutely wonderful.... especially the hammock and warm sea on door step!! Please have a swim for me!! I can't think why everyone else seems to want to be there - I have SATs to do and reports to write which I would much rather be doing!! Have a fantastic time and try to think of us poor things sometimes! Love sheila x
