The journey from North to South went a lot quicker than planned. We stopped briefly in Vientiene, didn't think much of the city considering it was the capital, and made a dash for it south.

We ended up here for a couple of days to check out the Ankor period ruins of Wat Phu Champasak.

Great to see!
Hey folks, Great to see one of my fave places in all of Asia hasn't changed too much in the 6 years since I was there...very rare! Great pics, but pity to see the knuckle-head lying all over the Crocodile Stone at Champasak. I know it's stone, but if every whitie did that...
