still here but not for much longer. One week till we fly out on our adventure of living and working in Cambodia. Are we ready? I hope so..
I've had major IT problems this week due to trying to load windows on a mac so I can use the GIS mapping software from uni Ended up wiping both operating systems, and I lost everything. Luckily my imac came to the rescue with my backups. Bought a 500GB hard drive and a care & protection plan for my macbook ($417!!!!!).
Anyway John had to sort my computer out and it seems to be working...
Lachlans computer also went belly up at the same time which has not helped.
Now we have to pack, but of course people want to come over and say goodbye this week, which is great but guys, don't get offended if we talk whilst packing? Did I mention I've also got a law assignment due tomorrow? That I haven't started??? Am I mad? Probably.
6 more sleeps...
As for the boys well, missing them is a given. I think I won't realise just how much until I'm away from them for a few weeks. I know they will miss us. It's something I've been struggling with for a while. It's a hard one.

Leaving soon
Hi Kirsten and John, Hope you had a great party on the 17th. Sorry we missed it. Now you have to eat this week. Can we catch at the Club or the Glenorie Thai for a quick meal and goodbyes??? I am having my brother and his family tonight for dinner (Tues). I don't mind feeding you all at my place either. Let me know if any night works for you. Larissa
1st August 2010

Sorry, Larry but its a bit late for dinner now! Anyway keep checking the blog and we'll keep in touch that way. Or download skype and we can talk to each other over the net for free!!! PS The thai restaurant in Glenordinary is very, very ordinary (we walked out). I would rather a home cooked meal any day! Cheers, Kirsten

How is it???
Hi there Kirsten and John, This is the second message I have sent you on the blog but don't see my message with all the others. I hope the flights were comfortable and the service was good. How are your first few days in Cambodia? Do you like your house? You will be enjoying the warmer weather. It's really cold here today, coldest day this winter. LOL, Mum XX
