Hey guys sorry about the delay on bloggs we've been pretty busy recently. In the space of 2 days we had three intense flights but we finally got to sunny sunny Cairns! The hostel we were staying at was good; pool, private bathroom and a voucher for a free dinner at this bar place - which we of course loved. With our limited time in Cairns we decided to do a day on a barrier reef boat which included scuba diving which was amazing! Good food, and although we both suffered a bit from sea sickness as soon as we stopped it was fine. Sarah got a bit (very) scared before we went diving but managed to do it and I think she actually enjoyed it, we saw loads of coral (and got taught loads about coral and fish and stuff) and fish etc. It was a really good day, to be honest we've been doing so much travelling to and from places its hard to keep track of everything.
Got the ten hour train to Proserpine but had films and a cool view of the outback we were speeding through and now we're in the Whitsundays. Its pretty similar to Newquay ha, but better of course but there's the same vibe. We're off on another boat/snorkelling trip tomorrow which takes you to one of the top 10 beaches in the world so we'll let you know about that. Also trying to sort out a sea kayaking tour. Just hit the supermarket as Oz is really expensive foodwise (especially compared to Asia!) and will be living of pasta forever. Will keep you updated, hope everything is good 😊

PS. Hi, Sarah here, Mum could you please move 100 pounds in to my account (you said there was still that much in my other account) just in case. Also ask Hannah/Laura if they want me to pick them up uggs in Sydney because I'll happily try. We're both good take care xx

Hi guys, great to hear fom you. The Great Barrier Reef sounds fantastic and well done Sarah for doing the dive - it must have been a great experience. The trip tomorrow sounds fab - take lots of pics! Hope you manage to do the sea kayaking - seems to be a bit of a theme for this trip - lol. Sarah, I'll move the money later today. If you get stuck when we're away, use the card. Thanks for the offer of picking Uggs up for your sisters. They'll get back to you soon. Take care. Lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Welcome to Australia
Glad all’s going well and that you enjoyed the diving – Whitsundays should be even better (at least based on G’s experience). Spent the weekend with Grandma & Granddad – took over printouts of all your blogs so far for those who haven’t quite got to grips with technology. Everyone sends their love, particularly F&N who are glad to have got through the exam period and now looking forward to their own summer break. Enjoy the rest of the north and then roll-on Melbourne. Just read a Metro article here on Melbourne’s nightlife and you shouldn’t be short of things to do !! Look forward to the next blog instalment. Love & best wishes. Dad & George.

Hi
I cant believe all you are seeing. The train and outback must have been amazing. We will have to book a whole weekend out to see all the photos. Glad it is all going according to plan. We moved Alex into her room in Bham, she got her first choice so has the upstairs front room which is quite large and is currently painting it. !!! Lots of love from everyone. xxxxx
