The Sign. Today we travel from Souix Falls to Wall, S.D. We will be stopping off in Mitchell, S.D. to visit the only Corn Palace in the world. The exterior of the palace is changed every year with that years corn crop and other related products.
After a relaxing stroll through the Corn Palace and some of the other shops downtown, Leta had a hamburger craving, so we had lunch before leaving for Arrow Campground in Wall.
After check-in and set up at the campground, we went to see Wall Drugs, that have billboards in several countries around the world as far away as Kenya, Africa. The girls. informed they were out of that night. When we finally chose an item they did have it really was not all that great. Evidently you do not have to have any management or training to work for this particular restuarant.
I had a minor problem with a body panel breaking loose from its brace between Mitchell and Wall, so that is something that will have to be taken care of in the morning before we leave for our extended stay in Keystone, S.D., at the Spokane Creek Campground.
Arrow Campground in Wall was a good place to stop over for a night. The people were very friendly and it was clean, but nothing fancy.
