Waiting at Heathrow Airport for our flight! So we made it! Safe and sound!
The flight was as good as it gets, no delays or cancellations but VERY long! We hardly got any sleep on the plane 2 hours if that but apart from that food was okay, entertainment good and the staff couldn't do enough for us! Hannah and David picked us up from Melbourne airport and brought us back to our temporary home in Oz. The house its deceiving from the outside looks like a small bungalow but inside the ceilings and rooms are huge!
From what we've seen so far Geelong reminds me a lot of where I stayed in Florida, the houses are mainly all one floor bungalows, high ceilings, very spaced out areas unlike the UK where everything is together and in walking distance, also the roads are HUGE, feels like you are trying to cross a motorway lol!
Today we woke up around 10ish to try and get into the Australia time routine, although saying that Liam is lying next to me asleep having a nap lol I don't feel tired at all, but I'm sure it will catch up on me soon enough! Hannah and David drove us

Biggest aeroplane ever!! A380? around the city, to my uni campus and to the waterfront which looks beautiful we are going to head down there tomorrow for a walk so we'll upload some photos then. They have these electric BBQ's dotted around in public areas we saw some at the beach, anyone can use them to cook their food on LOL so Australian!
We then went to the local supermarket which is down the street, about 5 mins away which is handy! We only bought a few things, we are going to go down there again tomorrow to get the weekly shop, food is expensive here! I can't think of any examples of prices atm but it is more than the UK!
Later on we headed to the city centre, it's about 15-20 min walk, not far had a look round we bought some towels as we didnt have any and boring stuff like that from the $2 stores even though everything is more expensive than that, weird :S! We had a look in Westfield shopping centre and there does seem to be some nice clothes shops, which Liam had to stop me from going in before I spent all our money

Now we're back at 'home', I'm going to wake Liam up so we can make some dinner! Til next time x

Lovely to hear from you so soon and pleased you seem to have settled in quickly. It is Saturday morning here and we are all packed and ready to go to Luton Airport. Blog or Skype you when we get back. Lots of love mum and dad xx
