Lei Ho! I'm in Hong Kong with Maggz and I'm getting ready to go to my next destination: Laos! We went to a crazy art exhibition the other day. We didn't understand a thing, haha, it was too... um.. smart for us? We came out of there like, "Huh?" We saw some weird stuff and we don't get it at all. It was fun to see how crazy and imaginative an artist's mind can get. Props to them for doing what they love though!

My 23 flaws

1. I get so excited about eating food that I almost always make a huge mess on the table

2. I blast the air-conditioning and forget to turn it off a lot of the times (sorry mother nature!)

3. I’m terrible at introducing people to each other because I often forget names, so I tell them to “introduce yourselves” so I can secretly hear the names again… hehe

4. I am officially stupid because I can’t drive and look at the GPS at the same time so I need a passenger to look at the GPS and tell me where to go, even though the GP S already told me…

5. I enjoy telling kids that monsters are real to give them a good scare… hehe, I know, I’m terrible

6. I think my opinions matter

7. I used to tell my project team that my family member was sick just so I can skip the meetings and watch my Lakers games

8. When I eat out with my parents, I sometimes just order the most expensive thing instead of looking at the description of the food!

9. I drive people crazy with my “plans cannot keep up with change” type of spontaneous lifestyle

10. I don’t give beggar kids money

11. I’m so forgetful that if you give me the movie tickets to hold on to, I’ll probably lose it within a minute

12. I should have a better long-range shot in basketball

13. I see Buddha as my hero, not my god

14. I can speak 4 languages but I suck at 3 of them and I have terrible grammar in English

15. I’m a comic geek who quotes superheroes to kids so I sound like a superhero to them…

16. I LOVE breaking rules

this painting was made from thousands of stitchings

17. I mess up the majority of my magic tricks

18. One time, after I ate cafeteria food, I couldn’t stop farting during an exam and the person next to me was having the hardest time concentrating

19. I read Maggie’s Cosmopolitan Magazine in the bathroom once and actually kinda liked it… can’t believe I’m saying this out loud.

20. Deep inside, I’m still a fatty who doesn’t know when to stop eating

21. I think MSG tastes good and it should be on the table like pepper and salt

22. My favorite American is Homer Simpson

23. I try to change others instead of changing myself because my ego thinks my "self" doesn't need any changing.

My flaws define me just as much as my accomplishments define me. It is my ying to my yang that ultimately makes me whole. The first time I knew I had fallen head over heels for Maggz was when I had already exposed all my flaws to her and she accepted it with a smile. She took me at face-value and understood my flaws came with the package. Anyone can love somebody for their good qualities but true love is when you can grow with the other person’s flaws. To love their flaws is to love the person as a whole. Everybody has flaws and nobody can be perfect. But I do believe you can find the perfect companion who can make you feel like your flaws are nothing to be ashamed of. Maggz, you can keep telling yourself that you’re too fat and all those other crazy things, but know that there is one fool in this world who thinks you’re perfect in every which way. No matter what you think about your own flaws, you’re flawless in my mind. Happy Birthday, babe! Take care of yourself and I’ll see you when I get back from the 3rd part of my journey!

flawless
yes, vic, your flaw makes you a whole person and even a bit more lovable. But if you could change those flaws to maybe some other flaws, it is still good for your life. Want that car? mom
