We had another very hot day in paradise today. We still had our little motorbike so decided to have a further look round the island. Just up the road from where we were staying is the Grandfather and Grandmother rocks. We went to have a look and took pictures, you have to judge for yourselves which is which. There are no prizes for a correct guess.

We then carried on round Samui in an anti clockwise way. Saw the beach at Chaweng which was quite busy with tourists and people selling stuff and carried on up to the northern peninsula. There we were getting hot so stopped off at Tongsai resort for a cup of iced coffee. The waiter there knew one of our receptionists and so we took his details to pass on his good wishes. We have become fond of Meaow our lovely Thai receptionist. She is a lovely girl and still single. For a laugh we tried a bit of matchmaking but our waiter was already with a girlfriend.
However if any red blooded males 24 - 28 years old wish to meet a lovely Thai lady p-lease let me know and I will pass on your details.

We went down the east coast and found the old fishing village which we think is the oldest part of the island. There is another Buddha there which we photographed.

Had to stop off again for a milk shake after another half an hour of riding as by now our bums were numb and becoming sore.

Eventually we bit the bullet and headed back the last 30 minutes to our hotel. We both looked like John Wayne getting off a horse back at the hotel. The solution was a relax in the spa pool with comforting bubbles massaging feeling into parts Heineken daren’t mention.

Owing to the recent cooking faux pas we had a nice meal at the hotel restaurant after a couple of reviving G & Ts on the balcony. Forgot to mention we had to fill up the bike as it had been right round the island, amazing how far £2 gets you.

We found out Wendy had pulled back muscle during the ride so a massage has been arranged for tomorrow.

Such a hard life,

Cyall.
