Well, 2010 is passing slow, April is here and Mai is just a matter of time, but March was one of my best months so far, due to several reasons....
The snow started melting and we had positive temperatures FINAAALLLLYYYY!!!!!!
Now in April we still have some snow here and there but at least i dont have to scratch the windshield every morning for 20 minutes....Spring is almost here (summer in some parts of the world) and i am back to life, days are getting longer and nights are shorter and shorter....the Baltic Summer will be here soon... As a migrating bird that i am....i also started moving around. First stop...Romania, for one week of business meetings, but besides that i had time to meet some of my friends, my lil' sister and to enjoy the beautiful mountains of ROmania....(that i missed, Estonia is as flat as Oltenia).
The 2nd trip of the year was in Lithuania, passing Latvia by car. It was really nice to be back in Vilnius for some time and recall the good old times and the randomness and craziness of the almost 2 years spent in this amazing city...maybe this
was the first time i realized i truly miss the Gediminas prospect and Coffee Inn with all its cheese cake...the mini car racing track and my friends in Lithuania...Further on i went to Siauliai for a 3 day event run by AIESEC in Baltics...where i worked with Rytis and Deny and met a lot of interesting people, some old friends and i spent some quality time with "Švyturys" and "Kalnapilis".... On the way back i went to the hill of crosses near Siauliai and got a bit lost driving around Riga....
The 3rd trip of the season was made up north in Estonia, target destination "Kunda" a small village at the Baltic sea in the Finish gulf. The road there takes you to Mustvee, a small village/city near the biggest Baltic lake and Rakvere, a small city with vast history....
The lake is still frozen and the sea is just half frozen but you can enjoy some pictures....i promise to make some pictures in Summer also....
