sorry about yesterday, i was feeling to lazy to write.

yesterday i finished my requested scarf and started on a bunny. I had this idea: one of my friends has a daughter and so i am going to make the daughter a bunny and give the mom a scarf for mothers day. oh ya i dont know if you know but mother's day here is 14 march rather than in may. i thought they were just getting prepared early like they do for Halloween or christmas but then i saw an actual sign with the date and then asked some of my irish friends what the deal was. They were actually shocked that ours was in may rather than in march. ahaha oh cultural differences! So i was planning on having an early night and just staying in but then i got a text from my friend saying they were having a mini party and also an email from my art history people saying that they were having a class night out. So i ended up going to both. The first was just in their apartment and was pretty chill while the art history deal was a meet up at a pub and then dancing. So i went to one for about an hour and then went to the other. The art history deal was really fun! most of those that were there were the ones that went to florence, so it was really nice to be able to hang out with them again! They actually had pizza delivered to the pub ahha it was way entertaining! and there is this older guy in our class, maybe around 70, and he actually went dancing with us. IT WAS SO SO FUNNY!!! i am so glad i went!!

This afternoon i had irish where we learned how to describe a picture. I was really surprised actually at how much i know. granted it is really choppy but way more than i ever thought i would and with A LOT more ease than learning spanish. that might just be though that i never ever wanted to learn spanish in the first place so it started as a struggle. but irish! man it is so great! rarely used but such an amazingly bizarre language! i love it!!

then i went and hung out at a coffee shop and waited for my class by trying to figure out the bunny design. i made all the limbs and ears but the body and head are giving me a lot of trouble and i think i will just have to wait for my knitting group so that one of the ladies could maybe help me read the directions😊

im quite excited; this weekend is the ring of kerry field trip that is put on by the school but was paid for as part of my program. love you all. hope you are having a great day
